The 2003 Musical Obituaries
Compiled by George Graham
(As broadcast on WVIA-FM December 31, 2003)
Here is another of our year-end features, a look back at someof the musical
personalities who passed away during the year. There were some high profile
figures who passed from the scene like Johnny Cash and Maurice Gibb, but there
were quite a few artists whose influence has been lasting, and whose passing
did not get the kind of media attention. As usual, we'll work our way through
the year chronologcally, starting on the last day of 2002.
