1999 Graham Awards | George's 1999 Year-End Review | George Graham's Home Page
Compiled by George Graham
As broadcast on WVIA-FM 12/29/99
Time once again for another feature of our annual year-end wrapup, this time at
the end of the 1900s, our radio obituary page, noting the passing of people in
the music world, whom we lost during 1999. As usual, a few are household names,
while many others are people whose influence is perhaps better known than their
names, and whose passing the commerical media largely ignores. There were a lot
of people we lost this year, so as I did last year, I'll read them in
chronological order of passing. We'll start with a three from the very end of
last year, whom we did not get a chance to report at the time.
