July 13 Bedful of Metaphysicians. This group achieved minor cult status after their LP given was a glowing review in Spin magazine back in the 1980s. Their mix of complex jazz-rock fusion compositions, electronic instrumentation and often wacky lyrics was one of a kind, much of it from the pen of the late Charles Alexander. This "deep archive" segment features some of the group's more memorable music from exclusive WVIA recordings from the 1980s.
